Reliability Personified

I purchased the SA GI Military 1911 approximately 8 months ago. I''ve tried all types of ammo in it with no FTF/FTE. Recently, I started reloading 45 acp ammo and mistakenly double charged one cartridge. Thankfully, the SA has an all steel frame/slide. The gun locked-up but I was able to extract the empty casing, reload the magazine, and resume the range session without any FTF/FTEs. I can only speculate that the all steel SA pistol saved me from injury and continues to work as of this review. The SA GI is definitely Reliability Personified!
